Hi friend!  My name is Amanda and I am so glad you are here!

I grew up in a small town in South Texas.  If you have ever driven through Texas, you know it can take forever and a day to get out of the state.  There is so much to see and do in Texas that we didn’t leave our state much.  Knowing that there was so much to explore in my home state, I realized how much more is there to explore in this beautiful world God created.  

Before the internet (did I just date myself?!?!) we didn’t have access to seeing the Caribbean Islands with the click of a button.  When Pinterest came along, it seemed so amazing to be able to search for and see something we had never seen before in an instant.  While this new platform was so helpful in causing me to dream again, I found that I often allowed that to become a substitute for my dream of seeing it with my own eyes.  

I belieieve that life was meant to be lived and memories were meant to be made.  I believe that we were meant to live out the pins we find on pinterest which is how Live The Pin was born.  

I decided that I didn’t want to just keep this to myself but wanted to help others dream again and then put a plan of action into place to make those dreams come true. I became a travel reviewer and vacation planner.  I travel to over 50 resorts each year to tour the properties, meet with the sales teams, try out their food and beverages, and experience the culture and destination so that I can best fit my clients vacation needs to their family dynamic.  I am sort of a vacation matchmaker if you will.  I love helping my clients plan out the memories they will be talking about for years to come.
